📋 Description

• Review and evaluate project specifications and end-user customer requirements • Provide electrical solutions including one-line electrical diagrams, schematic diagrams, layout and equipment drawings, equipment specifications, and project budget pricing for low- and medium-voltage applications • Understand protection and control relays and digital solutions across medium-voltage opportunities through application engineering and opportunity development with the local sales team • Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations using the best product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations • Create well-documented tenders in a timely manner, including full and accurate costs • Manage technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of bids, estimates, and quotations • Identify potential risks in bids, quotations, estimates, and related contract agreements • Provide information and/or participate in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy • Collect and collate technical and cost information required to prepare proposals • Establish and maintain customer relationships to understand customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience • Provide technical support to Sales Managers during customer technical meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering • 3 plus years of experience in Electrical Industry • Knowledge or experience with SEL Relays and other Digital Relay Protection systems is required • Knowledge of medium voltage equipment such as breakers, current transformers, relays, etc. • Previous proposal generation or requisition engineering activities preferred • Proficient with proposal development tools including SFDC, Empower, Word/Excel, and PDF • Strong power systems design and communication skills • Must be self-motivated to learn all ABB products/solutions and associated value propositions in EL • Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the US
