📋 Description

• Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for EP products • Serve as a clinical interface between the medical community and Abbott’s business • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers • Provide regional EP procedural case coverage • Develop, lead, and facilitate trainings and programs on EP products • Provide insight and feedback to management on market feedback and next-generation products • Support EP Sales Representatives with sales support, training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new-product in-service training • Assist Training and Education with advanced educational seminars and materials • Assist Sales with advanced product demonstrations • Monitor developments in the field, regulatory requirements, company and competitor products, markets, objectives, and industry trends • Resolve or facilitate resolution of problems and identify causes to prevent recurrence • Monitor performance and report status to the manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, related field, or equivalent healthcare experience required • Ability to become certified on EP products • Minimum 6 months in a Clinical Specialist position • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, internal or external with an industry competitor • Achieves or exceeds expectations in most recent performance review • Average of 15+ cases per month for 6–12 consecutive months as primary mapper • Primary mapper on complex cases for 6+ months, including a minimum of 3 complex cases over the last 6 months • Demonstrated ability to increase utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools • Completion of monthly sales activities at assigned accounts • Verification of satisfaction of vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
