• Sell Abbott’s portfolio of cardiovascular products into targeted ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) • Conduct regular business reviews for assigned accounts • Provide solutions and expertise to resolve issues for assigned ASC accounts • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers • Build executive-level relationships with ASC customers across segments, therapy areas, and business functions • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions and services • Create, drive, and negotiate contracts and contract structures • Drive integrated product agreements and business solutions to increase share and deliver growth • Develop and implement business plans for targeted accounts • Prepare and deliver corporate proposals and branding presentations • Manage strategic partnerships and assess partner capabilities • Coordinate with contract management and legal staff to meet internal and legal requirements • Support sales counterparts with strategic initiatives within targeted accounts and geography • Meet or exceed annual sales objectives by mobilizing cross-functional stakeholders • Keep the organization updated on business planning and post-contract implementation progress • Optimize account performance using sales data and ASC market expertise • Report to the Enterprise Accounts Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and collaborate in a matrixed environment
• Bachelor’s degree required • At least 7+ years of related work/sales experience required • Proven track record of sales success • Negotiation skills • Cross-specialty contracting experience • Contract management experience • Knowledge of and prior experience working with ambulatory surgery centers required • Knowledge of the cardiovascular medical device market strongly preferred • Ability to work with and influence others • Ability to prepare and deliver effective oral and written communications • Ability to prioritize tasks, analyze problems, develop solution alternatives, and implement tactics • Experience managing mature and emerging businesses with broad product portfolios preferred • Understanding of the capital selling cycle and capital acquisition methods preferred • Ability to travel 50%-75% across an assigned geographic territory
