📋 Description

• Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to achieve assigned sales targets • Create, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan and monitor progress • Maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results • Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution • Set the tone and pace for business processes and organization • Present market and franchise/business perspectives when leading teams • Champion in-field meetings through mastery of product, disease-state, and managed-care information • Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members • Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners during business planning • Exemplify AbbVie Ways of Working • Lead the dermatology/immunology district covering Philadelphia, Allentown, Lancaster, and the Eastern Shore of Delaware

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Minimum four years of pharmaceutical sales management experience; external management experience may be considered • Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance • Proven District Manager leadership experience • Good standing with safety and compliance standards • Currently meeting performance expectations • Effectively demonstrate the AbbVie Way and Leadership Attributes • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas • Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance • Ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities • Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements, including being in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required credentials • Must pass background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination verification, fingerprinting, and any specific state or city licenses required for facility access, where applicable • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to live within a reasonable distance from Philadelphia, Allentown, or Lancaster, Pennsylvania, or the Eastern Shore of Delaware • Ability to travel 50% of the time
