• Lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of Ventura Foods' maintenance and reliability strategy across the manufacturing network • Establish and sustain the enterprise reliability strategy and governance model • Provide leadership for reliability standards, performance expectations, and cross-functional alignment • Oversee preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs and audit maintenance execution quality • Deploy work order management processes, asset management strategies, preventive maintenance optimization, loss elimination programs, and reliability best practices • Direct MRO, spare parts optimization, storeroom management standards, and inventory strategies • Develop maintenance and reliability talent through technical training, workshops, skills matrices, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning • Develop and manage reliability scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, audits, and reporting processes • Analyze performance trends, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate corrective actions, and improve equipment uptime and maintenance effectiveness • Govern root cause analysis, failure analysis, and corrective action processes • Oversee CMMS utilization, maintenance data integrity, standardized work processes, contractor management, and continuous improvement • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, site leadership, vendors, and suppliers across manufacturing locations • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive maintenance, reliability, engineering, or manufacturing experience in a food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment • Experience implementing maintenance and reliability systems, including CMMS, work order management, asset hierarchy, maintenance planning and scheduling, and reliability performance management • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent reliability certification • Experience leading enterprise or multi-site reliability initiatives • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change through influence, coaching, and stakeholder engagement • Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), root cause analysis (RCA), reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and asset management practices • Knowledge of food manufacturing regulatory requirements, food safety programs, process safety management (PSM), and environmental compliance requirements • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and technical documentation • Working knowledge of CMMS systems, asset hierarchy development, bill of materials (BOM) management, and maintenance planning and scheduling processes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret reliability, maintenance, and operational performance data • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and sustain standardized maintenance and reliability processes across multiple manufacturing locations • Ability to work with plant management personnel, outside vendors, and suppliers to identify, install, start-up, and optimize process improvements and facility improvements • In-depth knowledge of plant process operations, including processing, mechanical, electrical, and structural problems and inefficiencies • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously • Must have a background in wastewater management, safety, and ammonia refrigeration • Travel: 20% - 50%
