📋 Description

• Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to increase sales within an assigned geography • Create, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan and monitor progress • Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets • Maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results • Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution • Set the tone and pace for business processes and organization • Present market and franchise/business perspectives when leading teams and in-field meetings • Develop mastery of product, disease-state, and managed-care information • Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members • Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners during business planning • Consistently exemplify AbbVie’s Ways of Working • Drive a personal auto, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas • Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance • Ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities • Ability to create a culture of winning and full team engagement • Ability to collaborate and influence without authority across organizations • Models AbbVie’s Ways of Working • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials • May need to complete background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses
