• Assess, plan, and execute AbbVie programs supporting treatment delivery for infused therapy offerings in Gastroenterology • Prospect and establish business-to-business relationships with local sites of care and develop and execute account/partner business plans • Maximize site-of-care opportunities in accordance with product labeling, strategic imperatives, and company policies • Execute defined management-by-objective goals • Provide therapy and clinical procedure overviews to site-of-care customers and coordinate with Medical Affairs • Identify gaps in site-of-care networks and develop plans to expand site-of-care options • Pull through national partnership contracts at the local level • Develop, execute, and manage business cases and contracts when applicable • Provide ongoing access-related education, including coding and billing, and conduct quarterly business reviews • Understand healthcare issues, strategies, customer trends, and best practices • Serve as lead point of contact with sales, patient services, and reimbursement access functions • Evaluate, develop, monitor, and measure partnerships and business plans against profit, growth, and value objectives • Develop and grow account relationships through a collaborative, results-driven approach • Develop and deliver business presentations and reviews to customers and partners
• Minimum of 4 years of pharma/medical industry experience • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement, including commercial and government payers, billing, and coding, with infused products • Direct experience identifying and activating sites of care in infusion service areas • Ability to work independently and make decisions while recognizing when supervisory input is essential • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments • Demonstrated integrity on the job • Ability to foster innovation in account approaches and practices • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize issues within higher-level policies and regulations • Excellent planning and organizational skills for date-sensitive deadlines • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to travel 70–75% of the time • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
