📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and sales tactics in the field • Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build customer relationships and identify customer needs • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections and secure calls to action during sales calls • Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage and sales opportunities • Analyze customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical information, and sales data • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of experience, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, and a high school diploma/GED required • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to adapt selling approaches to customer styles and behaviors • Proven sales success and solid presentation skills • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Leadership and support experience at district, regional, and/or organizational levels • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience preferred • English proficiency verbally and in writing • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
