📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections and gain calls to action to close sales calls • Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage and sales opportunities • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales practices • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least five years of experience, with three or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required when using the experience alternative • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Proven track record of success in selling and solid presentation skills • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Must satisfy applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to drive a personal auto or company car/truck or powered material-handling equipment
