📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Manage assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build customer relationships and solve customer needs • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections and secure calls to action during sales calls • Serve customer needs and build trusted relationships • Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer coverage and sales opportunities • Build knowledge of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Travel approximately 25% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • High school diploma/GED required when using the experience alternative • At least five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • Proven track record of leadership success • Solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen • Proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to identify customer styles/behaviors and adapt selling approaches • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge preferred • English language proficiency preferred for non-English-speaking countries • Must satisfy applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Must meet safe driving requirements • Valid driver’s license
