• Own Abnormal's renewals strategy and operating model end to end • Define the renewal motion, segmentation approach, playbooks, and systems for scalable growth • Lead, mentor, and develop Renewal Managers/Specialists • Set goals and KPIs for renewal bookings, gross renewal retention, upsell, and forecast accuracy • Manage and improve the full renewal lifecycle, including early engagement, term negotiations, commitment securing, and contract execution • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Operations, and Finance • Monitor pipeline health and identify at-risk accounts • Implement account preservation strategies and report renewal metrics • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify expansion opportunities • Develop and mature forecasting models for renewal bookings, churn, and NARR • Present updates to senior leadership and improve forecast predictability • Manage escalations and high-visibility renewal situations • Support complex negotiations and large-scale renewals • Monitor SaaS licensing, pricing models, contract terms, and email security/cybersecurity market trends
• 10+ years of experience in renewals, post-sales, or account management within a B2B SaaS environment • Preferably 4+ years managing direct reports • Proven ownership of gross retention at scale, with demonstrable improvement in retention and forecast accuracy across a full function • Experience building or substantially maturing a renewals function, including motion design, segmentation, playbooks, tooling, and operating cadence • Executive presence and influence with C-level internal peers • Ability to lead high-stakes customer negotiations • Strong quantitative and operational judgment • Fluency in forecasting models, retention economics, Salesforce, and Gainsight • Strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to develop, motivate, and retain a team • Strategic process improvement and scaling experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment • Experience building and operationalizing AI tools to improve renewals and post-sales processes
