📋 Description

• Promote and provide technical onsite and remote sales support for Generac Industrial products, focusing on Modular Power System, large kW, and Clean Energy solutions • Support Generac Direct-Sales Teams and Distributors on specific projects • Work directly with key electrical engineering and construction firms to achieve Generac product specification and sourcing • Identify key engineering firms and develop strategies to educate and persuade them to design generators and transfer switches around Generac products or accept Generac as an equal • Educate engineering firms on MPS paralleling concepts and the value of working with Generac and its distributors • Direct sales tools to strategically develop the assigned geographical region and dealers, including PDSS, fly-ins, customer visits, Engineering Symposium, and Power Design Pro • Provide real-time voice-of-customer feedback to Sales Management and Product Management • Conduct training seminars for the electrical engineering community using a pre-packaged curriculum • Cover the Northeast territory: NYC, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Five (5) years technical sales/sales support experience or completion of Generac’s sales rotational program (Market Focused Sales Manager) • Occasional travel • Ability to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls; stand and walk • Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, reach above the shoulders, and lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to perform frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus
