📋 Description

• Define the long-term architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap for ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management • Lead scalable and secure HAM solutions covering planning, procurement, receiving, inventory, deployment, use, maintenance, refresh, and disposal • Translate Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT business requirements into architectural designs and technical specifications • Serve as subject matter expert and lead architect for the ServiceNow HAM module • Architect the hardware-asset CMDB, including data integrity, relationships, normalization, reconciliation, and discovery strategies • Design and implement automated HAM workflows using Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and custom modules • Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow HAM, enterprise systems, discovery tools, and asset inventory systems • Establish data-quality standards, governance frameworks, and reconciliation processes • Architect tracking for hardware costs, depreciation, leases, contracts, and total cost of ownership • Automate asset-related financial processes and reporting • Develop hardware utilization, lifecycle-optimization, and refresh-planning strategies • Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to developers, administrators, and implementation partners • Lead technical design reviews • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, IT, and Compliance leaders to gather requirements, build consensus, and drive adoption • Monitor ServiceNow HAM features, industry trends, and emerging technologies and recommend innovations

🎯 Requirements

• Full-time remote position • Active DoD secret clearance required • 15+ years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a ServiceNow Architect role • Deep, demonstrable expertise with the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module • Extensive hands-on and architectural experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery for hardware assets • Experience designing and implementing complex ServiceNow HAM integrations • Understanding of the complete hardware asset lifecycle • Proficiency with ServiceNow, including Flow Designer, Service Portal, Custom Application Development, JavaScript scripting, and platform best practices • Strong understanding of ITIL principles as applied to asset management • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Active secret clearance • ServiceNow CIS-HAM certification highly advantageous • ServiceNow CSA and other relevant CIS certifications desired • Experience with ServiceNow SAM, ISO 55000, mobile asset management, financial asset-management concepts, and government contracting desired
