📋 Description

• Proactively and reactively contact patients throughout their first full year of CPAP therapy • Make and receive inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust to CPAP therapy • Identify barriers affecting consistent therapy use and provide practical tools and solutions • Use manufacturer software to review patient usage information and personalize patient conversations • Use knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to explain therapy and the potential benefits of consistent use • Develop a basic understanding of PAP and mask equipment from various manufacturers to assist with common troubleshooting questions • Encourage patients to use manufacturer mobile apps and other available resources • Help patients understand insurance requirements, equipment cleaning, and future resupply needs • Verify patient demographics, physician information, and notification preferences during each patient interaction • Accurately document patient conversations, questions, concerns, and next steps in the patient account • Share ideas and identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and support business growth • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • English proficiency, including reading, writing, and verbal communication • Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Word • Comfortable learning and using manufacturer software and other digital tools • Moderate mathematical proficiency, with the ability to understand, interpret, and work with spreadsheet data • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and find practical solutions with minimal supervision • Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with patients by phone and explain information in a simple, easy-to-understand way • Knowledge of or experience working with patients diagnosed with OSA is preferred • Experience working with various insurance plans, including HMO, PPO, and Medicare, is preferred • Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs • Must maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines
