📋 Description

• Support Strategic Energy Management programs to achieve energy savings goals • Lead virtual and onsite events to identify and prioritize energy reduction actions • Coach energy champions, executive sponsors, and broader customer energy teams to integrate SEM tools and habits • Deliver professional cohort training and onsite facilitation, tracking, and reporting • Review energy performance results with clients, including energy intensity model outputs and AMI interval data • Deliver customer service to commercial and industrial end users, utility clients, and program staff • Champion energy efficiency projects and approaches • Proactively identify and solve problems • Maximize quality and promote continuous improvement • Provide technical and program feedback, listen to customer needs, set expectations, and deliver commitments • Provide technical assistance, including calculations, scope development, implementation details, and operational impacts • Support development and validation of IPMVP Option C savings calculations and measurement and verification documentation • Contribute to continuous improvement of SEM delivery, energy information systems, and internal coaching tools and processes • Work alongside RI Energy Managers and Engineers to deliver focused SEM experiences for existing customer relationships • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or similar), business, or another applicable field • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively alongside an experienced internal counterpart without stepping on their role • Engaging speaking style and ability to adapt communication across audiences • Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills • Professional experience in the energy efficiency industry • Understanding of systems found in commercial and industrial facilities • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets • Ability to distill and convey complex ideas into concise conversations/emails • Comfortable managing projects and workflows with variable levels of ambiguity • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word and Excel • Ability to travel up to approximately 20% of the time • Interest in sustainability and passion for making a meaningful environmental impact • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check • Pre-employment drug screen may be required if applicable to the position • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), or Certified Practitioner in Energy Management Systems (CP EnMS) • Preferred: Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO 50001 • Preferred: Direct experience delivering SEM programs alongside an existing customer energy management function
