📋 Description

• Deploy, update, and manage test VistA instances across several cloud-deployed environments • Support development teams using deployed VistA systems • Design, develop, participate in coding activities, and perform validation • Apply SDLC, Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP), and VistA knowledge • Interact with clients, stakeholders, partners, subcontractors, and vendors • Escalate key issues and recommended solutions to project and client leadership • Support architecture enhancements, enterprise releases, and maintenance releases • Scope and define development activities supporting program roadmaps, releases, and sprints

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline; 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education • 5+ years of experience creating software in a variety of programming languages and IT software applications • 5+ years of experience debugging and correcting computer program errors • 5+ years of experience with VistA deployment and patching from the operating-system level upward • 5+ years of experience with formal SDLC, particularly agile • 5+ years of experience with the InterSystems technology stack: IRIS, Caché, and Ensemble • 5+ years of experience developing APIs, RPC, and clinical application code using Caché MUMPS or Caché ObjectScript • 5+ years of experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, or other data formats • 5+ years of experience in an agile Scrum solution-development environment • 5+ years of stakeholder engagement, including presenting solution features, sharing knowledge, and providing tool and process guidance • 5+ years of experience in analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting • Preferred: HL7 messaging and standards, HealthShare and IRIS, design mockups and prototypes, version control, TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, federal or Veterans Administration experience, VA VistA patch and release processes, VIP framework, healthcare industry experience, and GitHub • Public Trust clearance level • Applicants for employment in the US must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship
