📋 Description

• Works closely with Area Managers, Region Engineers, and Geopier licensee teams to provide project-specific technical guidance and direction supporting project feasibility and bidding efforts for Geopier design-build solutions • Collaborates with Area Managers to perform engineering analyses and prepare design reviews • Prepares or reviews engineering calculations and establishes engineering direction on projects with limited supervision • Supports the Design Center review team by performing slope stability and other geotechnical analyses to prepare RAP designs • Assists in troubleshooting construction challenges and design issues • Reviews and approves Rammed Aggregate Pier (RAP) and other system designs • Prepares and delivers technical presentations at internal and external meetings and workshops

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field • Possess a strong understanding of soil mechanics and structural loading conditions • Experience reading and interpreting project documents and drawings • Strong interpersonal skills; articulate communicator, adept in both electronic and verbal communications, professional appearance and demeanor • Ability to plan, prioritize and drive issues, tasks and deliverables from concept to closure • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet • Knowledge of computer systems and software, including AutoCAD, Microsoft applications, and other geotechnical software including SLIDE, SLOPE-W, Settle 3D • BS in Civil Engineering required • MS in geotechnical engineering preferred • Certificate of Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
