📋 Description

• Review project proposals and plans to determine time frames and procedures • Ensure direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout • Manage project costs and maximize profitability • Resolve daily project issues to ensure timely, safe, and profitable completion • Resolve conflicts and misunderstandings in contracts and specifications • Review constructability constraints and identify value engineering opportunities • Prepare project reports for management and customers • Prepare and collect change orders and ensure work is delegated appropriately • Develop QC plans when requested, including specific responsibilities and procedures • Negotiate pricing and provide creative solutions to complete projects efficiently and effectively • Travel safely to and from project sites as needed • Liaise between customers and internal departments including sales, detailing, operations, superintendents, and shop teams • Provide three-week look-ahead schedules weekly

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience with managing large construction projects • Rebar, concrete, and general contracting experience, highly preferred • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications • Solid understanding of project costs/cost control with strong financial and business acumen • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal • Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint • Ability to review and interpret contract documents for advanced projects • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related project management experience, preferred • Must be available to work during Hawaii's business hours • Willingness to travel as needed
