📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including content development, advisory boards, and speaker training • Facilitate multidisciplinary project teams and interface with each company department • Meet client and management expectations • Establish strong faculty relationships • Ensure programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters • Develop, maintain, monitor, and reconcile project budgets • Manage external suppliers • Keep programs on time and focused on primary objectives • Provide ongoing updates to internal team members and client contacts • Manage project resources • Build and maintain client and faculty relationships • Maintain professional written and verbal communications • Ensure client expectations are met on all levels of program activity • Maintain knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education • Contribute to new business development activities • Schedule and conduct project team meetings and maintain time and event schedules • Oversee faculty recruitment, audience generation, content development, logistics, registration and participant communication, materials production, supplier performance, and central file management • Assist in training new account team members • Maintain company policies and adhere to Lockwood policies and standard operating procedures

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required • Three to five years of relevant project management experience in a healthcare communications environment is required • Ability to grasp and retain scientific information • Strong technical aptitude • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams • Strong financial management skills • Highly organized and adept at multitasking/prioritizing • Ability and willingness to motivate others
