📋 Description

• Manage desk- and caseload of claims efficiently and professionally • Investigate claims, including coverage, liability, and exposure • Evaluate exposures and maintain accurate, timely reserves • Control and manage litigation issues • Evaluate claims for settlement and negotiate with claimants and attorneys • Control and manage medical issues • Evaluate claims for resolution • Keep claim files documented and updated • Ensure payments are appropriate, timely, and accurate • Complete required ongoing education credits to maintain license • Attend training and become proficient with workers’ compensation statutes for assigned states

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred • Multi-state commercial claims experience • Lost time workers’ compensation claims experience preferred • Maintain all professional licenses • Successfully pass tests in states where required for license • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and PC literate • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Strong organizational and time management skills • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently • Ability to provide professional and friendly customer service • Ability to work in a team environment • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Ability to determine required next steps and proactively respond • Able to multitask in various systems and/or programs
