📋 Description

• Develop and execute an Operational Excellence strategic plan aligned with corporate goals • Identify opportunities for process standardization, simplification, and automation • Set and track operational performance KPIs and develop improvement benchmarks • Build business cases for strategic initiative investments in CAPEX, project resources, and expenses • Lead major process improvement projects and large strategic initiatives using Lean principles, the AdaptHealth Operating System, and PMO governance • Design and implement frameworks, dashboards, and metrics for tracking and reporting process performance • Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities • Oversee change management initiatives supporting process and organizational change • Build stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and engagement • Develop and lead training programs for continuous improvement capabilities • Establish and enforce quality standards for consistent product and service delivery • Collaborate with quality and compliance teams on regulatory and industry-standard alignment • Lead root cause analysis for recurring quality and performance issues • Recruit, develop, and manage process improvement specialists • Foster collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement • Mentor team members and leaders in process improvement methodologies • Collaborate with finance, IT, supply chain, HR, customer service, technology, and other senior leaders on cross-functional improvements • Identify automation opportunities and drive digital transformation • Align operational initiatives with budgeting and financial goals • Promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values • Maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines • Complete assigned compliance training and educational programs • Maintain compliance with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field • Master’s degree preferred • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or operations management • Strong financial acumen, including P&L levers and business case development using ROIC, IRR, and NPV • Proven track record implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies • Experience in a leadership role implementing corporate strategic initiatives through strong project management and governance • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making • In-depth understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles and Operational Excellence best practices • Proficiency in metrics development, performance tracking, and project management • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize in a fast-paced environment • Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to manage organizational change • Leadership and mentoring experience building high-performing teams • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and think critically • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing • Ability to travel as needed up to 25% • Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy
