📋 Description

• Oversee revenue cycle management activities and strategize ways to increase company profitability • Lead domestic and offshore RCM teams managing patient and payor accounts receivable • Manage daily RCM team processes and ensure functions are completed within established timeframes • Create and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs for offshore RCM staff • Track, trend, and publish RCM performance metrics • Ensure accurate and complete insurance information and resolve discrepancies • Monitor upstream and downstream processes and recommend system and process improvements • Improve departmental quality and efficiency while identifying and removing bottlenecks • Report audit metrics for employee accuracy and productivity • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements • Train and develop team members on AdaptHealth policies and protocols • Handle escalated calls, insurance payer disputes, billing inquiries, and account inaccuracies • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and reduce insurance denials • Identify root causes of inaccurate insurance billing and conduct team education meetings • Maintain knowledge of HME products and services and ensure accurate billing and payor information in company systems • Ensure completion of month-end processes before close • Select, hire, onboard, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate staff • Establish annual departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy • Achieve organizational performance and retention goals and complete performance evaluations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited college is required; advanced degree preferred • Three (3) years’ work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry required • Two (2) HME claims experience is preferred • Exact job experience is considered any of the above tasks in a Medicare certified HME, IV or HH environment that routinely bills insurance • Knowledge of reimbursement billing procedures for third-party, private insurance, and government regulations • Knowledge of current HME products and services • Ability to manage domestic and offshore RCM staff • Ability to track, trend, and publish performance metrics • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate staff • AdaptHealth is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate against employees or applicants based on protected characteristics
