📋 Description

• Represent ADS across all assigned territories • Research and develop business within assigned program offices and related accounts • Research and identify upstream business development opportunities from current active accounts • Identify program needs and objectives • Identify initial purchases, priorities, manufacturers, product categories, and technologies • Identify preferred and/or optimal procurement methods • Understand and articulate how contracts are fulfilled • Lead all large-scale solicitations • Establish long-term sales and service solutions • Analyze markets and industries • Analyze market trends, new requirements, and new program inceptions • Keep up to date on world events • Gather intelligence • Create new solutions in response to market changes • Travel to assigned regions, build customer relationships, and meet with DoD industry manufacturers • Achieve assigned territory goals and contribute to customer and supplier satisfaction, team engagement, and overall sales growth

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years prior military or government contracting experience • 2+ years of experience with government programs in sales or development • 2+ years of experience with government contracts and procedures • 2+ years of experience with MS Office • Bachelor's degree required • Understanding of the Government Acquisition process and contracting • Professional and polished demeanor • Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities • Flexibility and organizational skills • Good grammar and writing skills • Attention to detail • Ability to work well under pressure • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport and trust • Strong negotiation skills • Frequent and extensive travel required • Occasional weekends, holidays, and after-business-hours work
