📋 Description

• Understand a project’s overall context and organizational value • Decompose projects into actionable components with subject matter experts • Estimate project effort with subject matter experts • Lead onsite and virtual project meetings • Deliver regular status reports to stakeholders • Facilitate cross-functional discussions with stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts, decision makers, and leadership • Evaluate project impacts and recommend management approaches • Ensure transparent project management and progress visibility • Track and document key project decisions • Establish and monitor project success criteria • Convert project tasks into assignable work within ticket tracking systems • Communicate risks, challenges, and schedule changes promptly • Maintain project schedules based on estimates and team commitments • Adjust schedules and re-task team members according to priorities • Capture lessons learned and process improvement recommendations • Manage allocated team members without direct-management authority • Communicate progress and performance expectations to allocated team members • Resolve or escalate task-related challenges • Identify and implement process improvements with stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Project Management, related discipline, or relevant work experience • Experience managing small, medium, and/or large projects impacting individual teams to entire organizations • Experience or exposure to Information Technology operations within an organization • Experience with a regulatory or information security framework and how it applies to projects • Knowledge of at least one project management tool or program, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Monday • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or similar • Accountability in project participation and solution-oriented work • Knowledge of ticket tracking systems, such as Jira or ServiceNow • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Planning, organizing, setting objectives, and managing time to meet deadlines • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation • Ability to regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 lbs • Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities • Verbal communication, listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
