📋 Description

• Design and develop medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems, including switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives • Implement process instrumentation and control systems to optimize facility operations • Prepare engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, specifications, and construction cost estimates • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards • Manage designs through construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to information requests, and generating punch lists • Collaborate with project teams, other disciplines, and design team members • Establish electrical equipment performance parameters based on project requirements • Collaborate with equipment vendors to refine preliminary selections • Provide design, construction, and assessment services for building electrical and energy systems across water, wastewater, municipal, government, industrial, and commercial projects

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Experience designing and developing medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems • Knowledge of switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives • Experience with process instrumentation and control systems • Proficiency with industry-standard electrical design and analysis software and tools • Ability to prepare engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, specifications, and construction cost estimates • Preferred: Professional Engineer license in California, or ability to become licensed through reciprocity • Must be able to work in the United States • No sponsorship is offered • No relocation is offered
