📋 Description

• Design electrical systems and perform design calculations • Review, sign, and seal projects • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Prepare record drawings • Conduct site visits and inspections • Participate in commissioning work • Write and edit electrical equipment specifications • Select equipment, electrical systems, and devices • Ensure projects are completed accurately, within deadlines, and on budget • Collaborate with Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines • Provide mentorship to junior staff • Travel to job sites for site observations and client meetings as required

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of Electrical Engineering design experience in the construction industry • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering • Electrical P.E. license or Engineering in Training certification preferred • Experience designing power systems for data centers, commercial offices, manufacturing facilities, medical buildings, or other large commercial projects • Experience working independently, managing priorities, and mentoring junior staff • Strong understanding of National and International Building Codes and NFPA Standards • Advanced knowledge of equipment power requirements, including large-scale standby and emergency power systems and interactive generator control systems • Experience producing Protective Device Coordination and Arc Flash studies preferred • Experience with Medium Voltage equipment selection and specifications preferred • Strategic thinking and flexibility to achieve long-range objectives • Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity • Strong organization and attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM, and Revit • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of background checks, drug testing, and other applicable pre-employment requirements may be required
