📋 Description

• Work on tasks contributing to the team's projects and goals with team support • Collaborate proactively with the team and stakeholders • Provide visibility and dialogue regarding work-related risks and trade-offs • Balance speed and quality while protecting systems from downtime • Contribute to team community through growth and development activities • Build and improve search experiences supporting Affirm's Ads business and Marketplace shopping experience

🎯 Requirements

• Previous work or internship experience with JavaScript/TypeScript • Previous work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale • Experience using Python or Kotlin • Ability to turn simple problems or business scenarios into solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code • Comfortable navigating a large codebase • Ability to debug others' code • Experience providing feedback through code reviews • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
