📋 Description

• Manage all AGFA imaging equipment in the assigned territory • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and execute field service bulletins • Assist peer Field Service Engineers outside the territory when needed • Provide feedback on technology performance, reliability, serviceability, service quality, and design issues to the US DR product team • Plan, execute, and validate installations with Project Management and the Installation Team • Support sales during pre- and post-sales activities and identify DR prospects • Develop customer relationships and action plans for additional AGFA sales, including service agreements, upgrades, professional services, and new equipment • Install, remediate, and maintain Agfa DR support, x-ray room systems, and trained OEM products • Review equipment operation with customers and fulfill training obligations during installations • Respond to and resolve hardware and software problems to ensure customer uptime and satisfaction • Develop technical solutions by interfacing with hospital IT administrators, end users, vendors, and support teams • Maximize uptime, performance, and efficiency of Agfa systems • Install software and hardware and perform performance analysis • Define problems, verify system defects, and apply fixes or workaround techniques • Initiate and follow DR/imaging escalation processes and keep customers and management informed • Assist with customer system installations, upgrades, and implementation activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technology field is a plus • MCSE, Network +, and CIIP Certifications are a plus • 5 or more years of previous direct field work experience in a technical customer support role • Experience with traditional x-ray rooms, digital x-ray equipment and rooms, and computed radiography (CR) systems • Highly desired 2 to 3 years’ experience in an expert or specialist level role with x-ray technology • Some PACS, RIS and EMR experience is desired • Experience with electronic and electromechanical systems is required • Experience in networking and operating systems • Knowledge of DR support and x-ray room experience • Experience with Agfa software or similar industry software and capability to learn new technologies • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Lotus Notes and Internet-based knowledge management systems • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills • Proven organizational and time management skills • Experience adapting to change and managing priorities • Strong customer service skills • Previous experience working in a global environment with remote locations and virtual teams • Understanding of the technical services business, product launch process, and healthcare environment • Must be eligible to travel overnight within the US and Canada • Must be eligible to apply for customer-initiated security clearances such as the US National Agency Check (NAC)
