📋 Description

• Install and optimize hardware, software, network products, and configurations at customer sites • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs • Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting product performance • Provide limited application support • Proactively address potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned business interruptions • Deliver coordinated solutions involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software • Train field engineers and customers on solutions • Serve as an internal technical resource and lead product customer concerns • Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to provide customer solutions • Deliver internal technical training, maintenance seminars, and workshops when needed • Calibrate equipment when needed • Qualify leads when needed • Cover the NJ, NY, and CT territory with extensive travel and on-site customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Ideal candidate resides in Central to Northern New Jersey; no relocation offered • Active and valid driver's license required • 2+ years of relevant work experience • Familiarity with Agilent and Waters analytical instrumentation • Specific experience with LC required • Familiarity with hand tools • Demonstrated logical troubleshooting ability • Ability to tackle high-impact, system- or solution-focused product availability problems • Customer service and solutions orientation • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel • Up to 50% travel required • Bachelor's, Master's, or other university degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, or another life science field preferred • Equivalent combination of education, training, and significant experience may be considered • Pharma/Bio-pharma, GMP, and GLP experience preferred • Dissolution or spectroscopy experience is a plus • Experience with Agilent solutions desired but not crucial
