📋 Description

• Lead the design and evolution of edge-to-cloud connectivity • Design highly available, low-latency communication systems connecting on-premise robot deployments with the cloud-native control plane • Serve as technical authority for network systems architecture • Architect connectivity solutions using 5G and private LTE networks • Integrate containerized network functions to optimize edge performance • Design and implement scalable, multi-tenant network architectures for global robot deployments • Engineer high-throughput, low-latency telemetry and control traffic using kernel-level tuning and modern packet processing frameworks • Define standards for secure, high-performance tunneling between distributed edge devices and centralized cloud infrastructure • Partner with cross-functional leadership to align network infrastructure with long-term business and product goals

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network architecture, systems engineering, or a staff-level networking role in a complex, distributed environment • Expertise in Telco/5G wireless networking, including containerized network functions and kernel-level performance optimization • Mastery of the Linux network stack and BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP • Ability to design and implement complex SDN and virtualization solutions at scale • Expert wired and wireless packet analysis using PCAP, 802.11 Wi-Fi frame analysis, Wireshark, and tcpdump • Knowledge of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7 • Knowledge of channel and band behaviors across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequencies • Travel required 25% to 50% to the US, primarily, and Canada • Current authorization to work in the United States • Preferred: AWS cloud networking, Linux kernel eBPF/XDP, and RF spectrum analysis tools
