📋 Description

• Engage in multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, engineering, and data and analytics cases on the Databricks platform • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from data owners and analytic users to C-level executives • Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert for internal technical analytics consultants and as an external company ambassador • Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery in a consulting role • Contribute to the growth of the Databricks partnership in the UK as a technical leader • Create and deliver technical and thought leadership content, including blogs, webinars, whitepapers, and presentations • Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations of Databricks functionality and interoperability • Support channel and sales activities by providing architecture advisory for prospective clients and projects • Contribute to the development and deployment of Aimpoint products on the Databricks platform • Contribute to client engagement delivery, practice development, business development, and company initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience • 7+ years consulting experience • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate a technical audience • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, customer-facing setting • Passion for technology and desire to grow and contribute to the Databricks community • Deep familiarity with Databricks AI, ML, Engineering, and Analytics features • 7+ years Databricks solution design, implementation, and engineering experience • Either 5+ years building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL, working across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data; or 5+ years ML/AI Engineering deploying, promoting, and serving ML models, building feature stores, and building RAG chatbots or other AI systems • Hands-on experience with streaming and front-end development, such as Lakeflow and Databricks Apps • Hands-on knowledge of Agent Ready Data architectures, such as Genie and Multi-Agent Orchestration • Hands-on knowledge of Databricks ML and Gen AI features • Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts and best practices preferred • Experience with Terraform deploying and configuring metastores and workspaces on AWS, Azure, or GCP highly desirable • Any Databricks certificates highly regarded • Willingness to travel
