• Support the Texas Education Agency on SEDS and/or TSDS testing initiatives • Perform advanced computer systems analysis and team lead work • Administer daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance section • Plan, budget, and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing systems • Work with development teams and customers to design, automate, and execute test cases across complex web applications • Support performance, accessibility, and data validation testing • Analyze user requirements, design documents, and other documentation to develop detailed test cases • Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases • Report and document issues, executed test cases, test results, and testing summaries • Perform manual testing and data validation • Execute SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data • Define and implement test case automation strategies • Communicate testing progress and findings to the team • Execute performance and accessibility testing
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience testing complex web applications • 6 years of automation experience with Java and TestNG • 5 years of expertise in SQL • 4 years of experience with Playwright • 4 years of experience with workflow-driven automation • 4 years of experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or other load testing tools • 3 years of experience with GitHub Copilot skills • Preferred: 2 years of experience with Zephyr Scale • Preferred: 2 years of experience with Jira • May require evenings, weekends, or holidays as pre-approved by the agency • Texas-based candidates are preferred
