📋 Description

• Lead operation and management of network routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and related components • Implement and support Cisco Phone systems • Evaluate, design, implement, upgrade and support Air Methods application infrastructure • Troubleshoot enterprise routing, switching and VoIP technologies in complex networking environments • Administer firewalling, VPN technologies, IPS, ACLs and security best practices • Develop and maintain network administration, security controls and disaster recovery policies and training plans • Plan, schedule, test and coordinate network systems software upgrades • Enforce systems security, backup and recovery procedures • Conduct feasibility studies, configuration impact assessments and cost/benefit analyses for network hardware and software • Lead innovative network solution design and infrastructure deployment or upgrade projects • Maintain and support systems in a 24x7 distributed, mission-critical environment serving data centers and helicopter EMS bases across the U.S. • Support enterprise disaster recovery and business continuity programs, including implementation, testing and event response • Provide administration and escalated technical support, coordinating with outside support services and vendors • Document systems and follow change management processes • Research, develop and implement systems best practices and standards • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field and five to eight years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Graduate Study/Master’s Degree preferred • Extensive Microsoft server experience, including Windows, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, OCS • Deep VMWare production experience • Large-scale Citrix XenApp farm experience • Working knowledge of HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) information security and assurance regulations • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Windows System Administration (Windows 2008/2012) • VMWare experience • Cisco UCS • Windows Desktop build and administration • IP protocol and stack • DHCP and DNS • Active Directory administration, including GPOs • MCSE, VCAP/VCP, CCEA/CCAA, and EMCSA certifications preferred • Ability to take after-hours calls and work non-standard schedules for maintenance windows and critical systems support • Must meet regular scheduled attendance requirements
