📋 Description

• Serve as the first GTM hire for T:0 • Build the GTM engine and sales motion from scratch • Personally run outbound prospecting, including lists, sequences, messaging, and follow-up • Triage and prioritize inbound leads • Convert founders from first call to paying customer, ideally in one conversation • Test channels and identify those that produce results before significant spending • Own the CRM and sales process end to end • Define sales stages, maintain clean data, and build a trusted company-wide pipeline • Sell rapidly to US-based seed-to-Series-A startups • Design a high-volume, low-friction motion with a path toward self-serve and PLG • Expand into new customer segments and build longer, multi-stakeholder sales motions • Generate pipeline in partnership with the Head of Marketing • Work closely with Airwallex's Startups team to align and compound both motions

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience as the first or only GTM person at a company • Real early-stage startup experience • Experience building a sales motion from scratch • Comfortable selling to founders and operators at small companies • Experience across different deal shapes, including longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles • Experience selling fintech products, especially accounting, bookkeeping, or founder finance stack products (preferred) • Experience building and managing a CRM (preferred) • Experience using AI to automate sales outbounding (preferred) • Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer • Able to meet hybrid in-office attendance in San Francisco three days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)
