📋 Description

• Support the firm’s California practice as an associate attorney • Manage assigned matters using the Firm’s case management and reporting software • Apply civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation knowledge • Handle real estate, civil litigation, and creditors’ rights matters • Attend court appearances and undertake attendant travel • Provide superior client care and proactive communication • Collaborate with and mentor team members • Articulate complex legal concepts clearly • Exercise sound judgment in legal matters

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a member and in good standing of the California State Bar • 8+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice • Willingness and ability to proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software • Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation • Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice generally • Court appearances and some attendant travel required • Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication • Self-starter able to work collaboratively • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Active membership of the California Bar required • Additional Bar licenses are a plus • Strong leadership abilities focused on team collaboration and mentoring • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills • Proactive approach to legal challenges • Sound judgment in all matters
