📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of complex HVAC/industrial control systems. • Develop PLC logic design and programming based on control narratives, sequences of operation, and project requirements. • Design HMI/SCADA system architecture, graphics, and standards. • Create and review detailed electrical control schematics and panel designs. • Prepare design documentation including I/O lists, network architectures, control narratives, and bills of materials. • Support field activities such as commissioning, functional testing, and design validation. • Integrate systems using serial and Ethernet-based industrial communication protocols. • Lead and/or support Factory Acceptance Testing and design reviews. • Support proposal development by reviewing plans, specifications, and scope documents. • Present technical designs and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders. • Prepare technical reports and design deliverables. • Travel approximately 30% nationally to client sites, regional offices, and project locations.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of PLC/PAC logic design and programming experience using IEC-61131 languages. • 7+ years of HMI/SCADA system design experience, including multi-node or distributed architectures. • 5+ years of electrical design experience related to control panels and industrial automation systems. • Demonstrated experience with industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and serial equivalents. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent demonstrated experience. • Rockwell Automation Certified Programmer or equivalent RA technical certifications are preferred, or willingness to obtain. • Siemens or Schneider Electric automation certifications are preferred, or willingness to obtain. • ISA certifications such as ISA CAP (Certified Automation Professional) are preferred, or willingness to obtain. • Ignition (Inductive Automation) Core or Gold Certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain. • UL 508A Industrial Control Panel certification familiarity (designer-level knowledge) is preferred, or willingness to obtain. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain. • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and drug screening. • Positions where driving is an essential function require a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
