📋 Description

• Provide remote occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions • Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance independence and well-being • Collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess and implement treatment plans • Monitor patient progress and provide guidance through virtual platforms • Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and required documentation • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA compliance • Utilize telehealth platforms and tools for remote therapy sessions • Stay current with occupational therapy developments and pursue ongoing professional development

🎯 Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) • Active CA State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License or ability to apply • Experience in a clinic, private practice, hospital, or home health setting • Technical proficiency to conduct teletherapy through the all-inclusive platform • Comfortable working with pediatrics (18 months+) • Prefer strong experience in feeding, sensory, hand, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients • Bilingual capability implied by the job title, but languages are not specified
