📋 Description

• Serve as a key business partner between IT, Finance, and Accounting teams • Coordinate, prepare, and consolidate the annual IT portfolio budgeting and long-range planning process • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial analysis, including budget-versus-actual reporting • Explain financial results and the narrative behind the numbers to management • Track and reconcile financial activity by project and portfolio in ServiceNow SPM • Partner with project managers and operational leaders to improve financial visibility into project investments and outcomes • Construct moderate to complex financial models for current and proposed company initiatives • Prepare and analyze IT Utilization reports for business units through ServiceNow • Partner with Accounting to maintain the integrity of financial systems used for analysis • Identify process improvements and implement methods to reduce errors and maximize productivity and efficiency • Complete special projects supporting corporate objectives • Review IT expenses for accurate coding

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Five (5) or more years of related work experience, specifically in an FP&A role • Experience supporting Information Technology organizations or technology portfolios • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, with exposure to Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) • Strong understanding of financial computer systems and data systems • Strong understanding of project-based accounting concepts and financial reporting • Technical understanding of data structure, data mining, and reporting processes • Knowledge of IT financial management practices, including capital planning and operational expense management • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Access • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and polished presentation skills • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills • Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial statements • Strong mathematical ability • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent assignments and complete work by required due dates • Ability to interact professionally with employees across all levels of organization • Highly proactive and actively seeks opportunities for process improvement • Works independently with minimal supervision and as a member of a team
