📋 Description

• Lead customer presentations • Perform system staging • Complete system documentation • Conduct live system upgrades • Ensure the integrity of the architecture/design • Carry out field engineering duties during radio system upgrade cycles • Upgrade and deploy network gear, Windows-based devices, virtual machines and Motorola proprietary devices • Serve as a customer-facing technical resource throughout upgrade efforts • Travel primarily to customer locations in the south central US

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronic Systems Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or Networking • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident with the ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customer • Knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE highly desirable • Good understanding and working knowledge of IP networking, network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS) highly desirable • Certifications through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar, highly desirable • Previous knowledge and experience working with some or all of Juniper, Aviat, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Xtreme, Ceragon, highly desirable • Experience directly working with end-user customers • Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences • 50-60% travel is required for upgrade projects • Over 50% travel • Experienced position
