📋 Description

• Develop new business within an assigned territory and proactively build a network • Build effective relationships with policyholders, Underwriting, Claims and home office staff • Assist Risk Underwriting by gathering relevant information on debtors and/or policyholders • Develop prospects through cold calling, third-party referrals, trade associations and other sources • Manage the entire sales cycle using consultative sales techniques • Understand prospect business needs and obtain and submit complete applications • Identify prospects’ key accounts and convert applications to policies • Collaborate with Commercial, Risk and Customer Experience stakeholders to provide appropriate product offerings • Expand networks through client referrals and personal relationships • Maintain knowledge of product features, competitive landscape and market trends • Negotiate and close complex deals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in business management, finance or related discipline strongly preferred • 2-4 years of business-to-business sales experience • Proven track record of success in similar previous roles • Ability to overcome objections, convince, motivate and influence internal stakeholders • Strong negotiation skills • Tenacity and ability to work in high performance sales environments • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Understanding of business financials and credit basics • Ability to secure and maintain Property & Casualty Insurance within the first 60 days of employment • Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enthusiasm for learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes, including Generative AI, data analysis, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT
