📋 Description

• Receive client submissions and input client and examinee data in the system • Verify that cases contain the information needed for clinical review • Maintain daily contact with the Clinical QA Department regarding workflow and pending report status • Track documentation of processes, communications, report status, and due dates • Maintain a daily follow-up tracker for files requiring clarification or attention • Receive completed reports and review them for completeness, accuracy, formatting, grammar, and sentence structure • Complete or ensure daily invoicing in accordance with company practices and client contract agreements • Respond to communications from physicians or clients requesting report status or information • Coordinate with transcriptionists and physicians’ offices regarding report details, clarification, and addendums • Ensure medical records and reports are properly documented and saved • Notify management of report issues or concerns • Follow HIPAA practices, state and federal safety standards, and legal regulations • Promote effective and efficient utilization of clinical resources and supplies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • A minimum of two years clinical or related field experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of the insurance industry, preferably claims management relative to workers compensation, no-fault, liability, and/or disability • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals • Ability to compute rates and percentages • Comprehensive understanding of PDF, XLSX, TIFF, JPG, and DOCX filetypes • Qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M • Proficiency with PC programs, specifically MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Google Chrome • High proficiency with Windows or Mac OS • Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation and style • Ability to accurately follow instructions and respond to directions from upper management • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness • Exceptional communication skills • Ability to work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficiently • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Ability to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment • Ability to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions
