📋 Description

• Write initial vehicle damage estimates for the NEST team • Review vehicle damage photos and produce high-quality initial estimates • Collaborate with body shops and customers in a fast-paced, high-production environment • Apply understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Create estimates of damages on first- and third-party material damage losses • Process and understand the content of all policy types written by the company • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in the file within escalated authority limits • Perform no supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in auto technical estimating skills • Solid understanding of vehicle repair procedures • Confidence negotiating effectively with repair facilities • Experience with CCC and Microsoft applications • Candidates must be located in one of the listed remote hiring locations: Florida, New Jersey, Virginia, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania • Prior experience in the auto insurance industry is strongly preferred • Must possess authorization to work in the United States • Active insurance license holders must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
