📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve attorney-represented bodily injury claims within the Extended Handler Bodily Injury Casualty Unit • Confirm facts of loss for complex automobile accidents • Determine coverage, liability, and damages • Negotiate settlements within assigned authority limits • Mentor and support junior team members • Help drive consistent, high-quality claim handling and team development • Determine subrogation or fraud potential and appropriate handling for complex cases • Apply advanced understanding of company and industry insurance policies and organizational relationships • Investigate all aspects of complex auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages, with discretion and independence • Review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims when handled • Recognize vehicle body parts and other potential property damage • Identify customer needs and meet them using appropriate customer service skills

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in bodily injury assessment and coverage investigation • Ability to manage a heavy caseload while remaining customer-focused and empathetic • Strong organizational skills • Analytical thinking • Auto insurance claims knowledge • Bodily injury claims knowledge • Injury assessment • Multitasking • Organizing and prioritization • Proactive thinking • Time management • Familiarity with EPIC and Colossus is a plus • Experience handling Louisiana State claims is a plus • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States • Applicants with active insurance licenses must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
