📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or bodily injury with attorney/litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys via phone, email, and text messages • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Conduct detailed reviews of damage and interpret policies to determine coverage • Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements in accordance with legal and business standards • Handle challenging and complex negotiation situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate claim documentation in the claims system • Manage claims primarily in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and/or Wyoming

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling represented third-party Bodily Injury claims • Experience managing severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims • Experience handling claims in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and/or Wyoming • Extensive knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis, a plus • Experience using NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center, a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office in the United States; not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico • Dedicated private home workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must submit to a background investigation • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, if applicable • Active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment • Resident producer license holders must surrender that license when instructed • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
