📋 Description

• Investigate casualty and applicable line-of-business claims independently • Perform detailed reviews of vehicle damage and interpret policies to determine coverage • Write estimates and guide customers through repair or total loss processes • Conduct in-person visits, virtual inspections, and written communications • Meet customers at homes, repair shops, and tow yards • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video chat • Offer customers communication preferences and provide claim progress updates • Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims • Maintain accurate, timely claim records in the claims system • Collaborate with body shops and service providers • Attend two weeks of in-person training at the Dallas, TX office if required • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 18+ months’ experience in auto collision estimating using CCC One • High School Diploma or GED • Proficient written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates • Comfortable utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel • Must be located in Springfield, VA • Required licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire; maintain all licensing, continuing education, and state-affiliated renewal requirements • Must submit to a background investigation • This position is not available for residents of Washington, California, Alaska, and Hawaii • Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions, appropriate desk and seating, and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
