📋 Description

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex homeowner claims • Determine coverage and damages and adjust and negotiate claims within authority limits • Create comprehensive damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner claims • Investigate and manage moderate to complex residential property claims, including some farm and ranch claims • Conduct on-site inspections and virtual claim handling • Build relationships with internal and external customers • Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files • Apply policy interpretations across company-written policy types • Assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training • Recommend process improvements • Serve as a peer mentor and provide direction to junior employees • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Wyoming, preferably near Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette, Rock Springs, or Laramie • Strong estimating skills • Proficiency with Xactimate • Ability to manage challenging situations while delivering an exceptional customer experience • Experience handling agricultural, farm, and ranch claims is highly preferred • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States • Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment • Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team • Remote workers must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License
