📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles with property damage and/or bodily injury and attorney/litigation involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, and text messages • Use innovative platforms and tools to negotiate fair injury settlements • Handle represented and litigated bodily injury claims • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Communicate claim information and progress using customers’ preferred channels • Evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business standard methodologies and negotiation tactics • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate claim documentation in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling represented third-party Bodily Injury claims • Experience managing severe, complex, and litigated Bodily Injury claims • Experience handling claims in Kentucky, Tennessee and/or Mississippi • Extensive knowledge of Gross Tort Value and Risk Analysis, a plus • Experience using NextGen, Mitchell Decision Point, and Casualty Center, a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Home office in the United States; position unavailable to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico • Dedicated private home workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Candidate must submit to a background investigation • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, depending on office/area • Applicants with active insurance licenses must terminate existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment
