📋 Description

• Drive development and adoption of enterprise-scale infrastructure automation capabilities • Design, build, and productize reusable infrastructure solutions for provisioning, management, and operations through code • Establish engineering standards, reusable modules, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service infrastructure capabilities • Collaborate with platform, server, security, networking, and application teams to transform manual infrastructure delivery into an automated operating model • Own the enterprise IaC strategy, standards, governance, and adoption roadmap • Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation across omni-hosted platforms • Build reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation capabilities • Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python, or related technologies • Apply AI-assisted engineering and Specification-Driven Design practices • Design and develop APIs and integrations for infrastructure orchestration, provisioning, and platform services • Drive CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation • Partner with platform product teams to accelerate IaC adoption and productize infrastructure capabilities • Create documentation, reference architectures, training materials, and enablement programs • Leverage cross-domain infrastructure knowledge across compute, networking, storage, security, identity, cloud, and infrastructure services • No supervisory duties required

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code principles, patterns, and engineering practices • Experience with continuous collaborative pair programming • Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Env0, Puppet, or equivalent platforms • Demonstrated success establishing and scaling enterprise infrastructure automation initiatives • Strong software engineering mindset emphasizing maintainability, testing, version control, and automation • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments • Knowledge of Git-based development workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews • Experience building reusable modules, templates, and shared automation services • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform services • Ability to influence engineering teams and drive adoption of technical standards • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
