📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles with property damage and/or bodily injury and attorney involvement • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service throughout the claims process • Communicate with customers and attorneys through voice calls, email, text messages, and sometimes video chat • Use platforms and tools to evaluate claims and negotiate fair injury settlements • Review damage details and interpret policies to determine coverage • Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Apply legal and business-standard methodologies and tactics for challenging and complex situations • Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Maintain timely and accurate claim documentation in the claims system

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling Represented Bodily Injury claims (preferred qualification) • Experience handling Uninsured/Underinsured Bodily Injury claims • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing time efficiently • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for claims evaluation • Candidates in Central and Eastern Time Zones will be considered • Must reside in the United States • Residence cannot be in California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico • Dedicated private home office free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Background investigation required • Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire, depending on office/area • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
