📋 Description

• Support and execute Alo’s Asset Protection strategy across an assigned area of approximately two districts • Analyze inventory shrink and develop strategies to reduce external theft, internal theft, and operational losses • Execute shrink reduction initiatives and targeted action plans for high-risk stores • Manage and develop Asset Protection Specialists across assigned districts • Provide coaching, training, and performance management • Conduct internal and external theft, fraud, and policy-violation investigations • Use POS exception reporting to identify integrity concerns, cash loss, and merchandise loss • Interview suspects and witnesses and document findings • Partner with HR, Legal, Store Leadership, Retail Operations, and cross-functional teams • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments and respond to incidents, safety concerns, and emergencies • Support stores during elevated-risk situations and monitor local security trends • Support new store openings with security assessments and Asset Protection onboarding • Manage or support CCTV, alarms, access controls, cash handling, key control, and store security compliance • Champion AI and advanced technology adoption for loss prevention, reporting, and investigations • Identify efficiency improvements through automation, data analytics, and emerging Asset Protection technologies • Assist with third-party security vendors • Prepare Asset Protection reporting, track KPIs, analyze trends, communicate findings and recommendations, and escalate critical issues to the Regional Asset Protection Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 3–5 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience, preferably in a multi-unit retail environment • Experience conducting investigations and working with store operations teams • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable outcomes • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to travel within assigned districts, including occasional overnight travel • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems such as POS, RFID, and Shopify
